26/09/2011: 15th anniversary Growing Pains. 15 years ago, my first album was released.
Growing Pains was the title.
I was 17 years old.
I wore the same pants during the whole tour.
It was a fashion statement :)
Here's some pictures from that era.
Fashion has come a long way since then and so have I.
Without GP there would be no 'Marjan' in music. So thank you to everybody involved in the making of that record and thank you to Map Records who gave me a break :)

De Standaard, 24/25 dec. 1996:
'Debaene geeft sterk visitekaartje af. Jonge folkzangeres laat eigen geluid horen.'
translation: Debaene deliveres a strong debut album. Young folksinger has own sound.
Weekend Knack, Jacky Huys, nr. 49, 4/10 tot 12/10 1996:
